Damn

That was awesome!

Reminds me of the guitar solo's on Brian Eno's ambient album "Apollo" from the late 70s. Very cool.

Wolfonite responds:

Brian Eno is fantastic. Love his work. Thank you for the kind words.

Not quite dubstep (lack of annoying saw wah-wah)

I don't like dub step very much but whatever you're doing is better than dubstep. It's different, I like.

I don't even know why it's called dubstep b/c the "dub" genre (i.e. Theivery Corp, Tosca) is nothing like "dubstep". Anyways, "dub" means to plug-in or foley voiceovers.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

Thank you:3

idk much about genre's, i just put it where I think it belongs based on things I've listened too.

John Carpenter style

If John Carpenter made Halloween today, it would be trancy like this!

daemoncel responds:

dude! thats awesome bro! thanks alot!

sci-fi action film ambient music

This sounds like it's in 4/4. What do you mean the time signature is turned upside down? Maybe 4/4 (flip it) and walla, 4/4?

I agree with the below guy; it's a good industrial track but not the sort of thing you'd listen to when you're doing nothing else and intently want to focus on the music in the foreground. This is good background or ambient music, for a sci-fi action film perhaps.

ReFreezed responds:

Lol. Maybe I should have said tempo. I thought it sounded like the tempo was changing all the time. Maybe it's just me.

Well, we're all different. I often find myself listening to this kind of stuff even when I'm not doing anything else than just listening. I see what you mean though.

Thanks for reviewing! I really appreciate it.

Ambient - an uncommon genre in NG Audio

I'm getting sick of listening to nothing but trance dance, hip hop, or video game music on NG Audio. Very nice to hear some minimalistic ambient work around these parts.

This reminds me a bit of Brian Eno's Ambient-2 and Music for Airports.

Tome89 responds:

But Ambient 2 was just piano...

Chill

I don't get the name though. Is this what it sounds like in Bruce Wayne's pad? Sounds more like John Wayne's pad with that tremelo guitar.

jaredpresley responds:

Hmm, nah just what inspired me to play the song. I doubt this is what his pad would sound like. Unless it's in a Burton movie, with the quirkiness. Thanks for the comment.

Butt rape?

Were you getting butt raped to this song when you were making it or something? What was the original title before you got butt raped?

MadHamish responds:

It actually didnt have a name. I asked my little brother for a name and that was his suggestion lol.

Why'd this get 1700+ DL's

Seem's like someone's trying to prove a point. No matter how good or crappy your mix is, you can jack up the plays votes and DL's by sockpuppeting.

HVI responds:

I believe it's just because it's on the top 5 and it's a loop... lol

I made music and posted it on this shithole website until it banned me for calling it a shithole website. If you enjoy what's posted here, come listen to my latest work on youtube via the link herein.
